Our world is always in need of more positive and sincere individuals. Luckily, people like Bob and Shelly Kummer exist, instilling the value of integrity and sincerity in everyone they meet. With a deep-set faith in their hearts, Bob and Shelly grant trust to everyone, and hold them accountable to retaining that trust. When negativity rises through the cracks, this power team tramples it down with positivity. Like most people, they’ve encountered several challenges and struggles throughout their life. By approaching each instance with an optimistic outlook, the Kummers have overcome their obstacles. 

Bob and Shelly Kummer met in Montana, where it was love at first sight. They were working in the telecommunications and hospitality industries and were attracted to each other’s ambition and drive. They decided to start a business together and remove themselves from the binds of the corporate world. By keeping God at the forefront, they’ve been able to stay positive in the face of adversity, live genuinely, and hold each other accountable to achieving their shared dreams for the future. 

Positive Attitude Always

For two people who have been in business together for a very long time, and married just as long, Bob and Shelly Kummer have managed to maintain a positive outlook through it all. When encountering negative circumstances, Shelly finds the “silver lining” and amplifies it. Bob cherishes her outlook and nourishes it, instead of letting a less than ideal occurrence get the best of him. Bob and Shelly live by the motto, “work hard, play hard.” While some might view their full travel calendar as overwhelming, they are delighted to see the country and spend time together. In everything they do, they are realistic but hopeful. As a result, they elevate everyone around them. 

Sincere to Their Core

If you ever meet Bob and Shelly, you’ll notice right away that they’re a sincere and genuine couple. When Bob invites you to do something, it isn’t an empty invitation; he will follow through because he is a man of his word. Even at a young age, when volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters™, Bob promised to take his “little brother” fishing. They ended up spending the entire day together before Bob then taught the boy how to clean and cook the fish.

Shelly is equally authentic and speaks from her heart with open arms. After promising her daughter that she would one day be able to get her a horse, she worked tirelessly until a few years later, she was able to fulfill that dream. In their friendships, they contribute just as much effort as the other party, and sometimes more. They do not shy away from challenges and thrive under pressure. Bob and Shelly work energetically to provide for their family and give generously when an opportunity presents itself. 

Faithful to Their Values

The Kummers are true to their word and live a life of integrity. When making decisions, they always consider what’s right for everyone involved, not just what is best for them. Their servant hearts are evident in all they do, as they try to look for opportunities to bless others with their time and talents. They are also dutiful in working relentlessly toward their goals and are big believers in delayed gratification. Whether it’s saving for decades in pursuit of their dream home or putting in manual labor to create a beautiful lawn, they appreciate the rewards that come with hard work, patience, and perseverance. 

Today, Bob and Shelly continue to exude positivity, act with sincerity, and remain faithful to their beliefs and each other. When not traveling around the country, the Kummers enjoy watching the sunset at their ranch home in beautiful Spokane, Washington, and spending time with their children and grandchildren. They are fond of riding horses, completing home renovation projects, and enjoying the outdoors—together.
